It was a beautiful misty morning and I almost missed it. I decided on a non driving spa day for Strider and me. We both got cleaned and spiffed up. I took off the tacky duct tape and figured out how to fix the broken latch on the batteries container then pleased with myself sat on the beach and read in the afternoon sun. I found a map of the trail system and went back into the forest. Earlier today they were filling the gullys left from the storm so it was easier to make my way. I was back in time to sit on the dock and watch the sky darken into night. A good end to a restful day.
